I'm going to tell you exactly what the problem with this country is and it would be in your interest to listen carefully. In a nutshell, here's what is going on. The poor people, the proletariat, dislike the middle class, and academics, liberals, and bourgeoisie. So the aristocracy, the plutocrats have talked the proletariat into believing that they are on their side and will help them punish the middle class. Who have been taking advantage of them. It has to do with power. The golden rule: "he who has the gold rules." To think Trump intends to share his wealth, or even give a person a fair shake is pure fantasy-lol. All through history people with the power took from the people who did not have the power. Now you think it is the Washington cesspool, and that is certainly part of the power. But there is a larger power. And that is the very rich, the plutocrats. The aristocracy, plutocrats have never done anything for the poor. Never, all through history. So while the aristocracy, plutocrats are buying our government and getting the Congress to write the kind of tax laws and regulations they want: at the same time the plutocrats are busting the unions and lowering the wages on everyone else, the poor people, proletariat because they own the politicians as well. And in the middle you have the liberals, bourgeoisie and academics who are trying to hold the aristocracy, plutocrats to account and the will of law. But the poor and uneducated by supporting Republicans are making it it very hard for the middle class to set forth a fair and decent society. All of the gains in wealth in the United States over the last 20 or 30 years has gone to the top 1%. The bottom 90% have gotten nothing. And the grand irony in all of this is that it is the people at the bottom that need it most that are preventing solutions. They just don't know better. Tom Frank wrote a book about this: "What is wrong with Kansas". The very rich plutocrats. The billionaires and multi-hundred million years, have the money to buy Congress. And then they have Congress write rules for them like favorable tax laws. It's always about power. I'm surprised you don't know that. There's an irony here. Because the people with all this power have convinced the least powerful in the country to fight for them. That is what Hitler talk to German people into doing with regard to the Jews. So in a nutshell, the aristocracy has talked the proletariat into beating the heck out of the bourgeoisie. And you seem to have bought the aristocracy story hook line and sinker. <<Swamp = Washington Cesspool You won't understand because you were complicit in government.
