Crabdad, Short TDW

I did not interpret him that way. I think he meant short as first half of the year, short term in other words. Not short the stock.

He listed a number of stocks short term. But he sure was bearish overall. :o(

This sector has got to shine in 98'. If not the whole market tanks.

Peace,

Dennis

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
Wall Street has plenty of opinions and assholes.

Sorry if I offended any of the sensitive, politically
correct thread members.

Gurus come and go. Gazarelli makes a few good calls
and is now discredited. Biggs was good for a few years,
lately he's been inaccurate. Even Vinik got fired from
Magellan. Even Buffet's Coca Cola has lost some of its fizz.

Acampora is the latest hot guru. He'll be discredited soon
enough. This game has a way of humbling the mighty. 80% of
portfolio managers consistently underperform the S&P 500.
Nobody has a monopoly on the truth. If you're right more
often than you're wrong, maybe you'll have a chance of staying
above water.
