Exactly... some of the better DGI/Income plays are now way down from their highs this year... my PF's total value is down over 10% from its highs a couple months ago or so, but my income generated by my PF is up over 9% despite the drop in total value -- I don't pay much attn. to total value... only income generated by the PF and is that income rising faster than inflation -- the answer is "yes, by a mile"... so I'm happy to collect the divvy income regardless of what the underlying stock prices are doing... and just for some perspective on that, this was the 8th straight day of declines in the broad market indices... mostly Fed and election jitters... I smell a Christmas rally coming...
