Man, I don't mean to get on your about anything. It was just a discussion.

In fact comb jelly set me straight. I had Chamberlain figured wrong.

But the word decency must be sacrosanct.

The long hard journey of humankind has been to establish decent societies.

That is the goal.

We evolved for thousands of years harboring horrible ideas like caste systems, slavery, autocratic rule and a plethora of cruel stupid wars.

We need to rid the world of tyrants, bigots, racists and mean stupid people.

I taught my kids that the compass of decency always points in the right direction.
