Your main problem
is the recognition of yourself as a white causcasian. All further errors in your thought stem from your attaching some import to this. (And He Said, May God be Pleased with Him)It is highly unlikley that you would have been as unsuccessful in your search for truth had you been born a poor girl in India.

How could anyone not take this post the wrong way ?

Dear James,
Thank you for your post. There is some scripture that specifically deals with interracial marriages. Read Numbers chapter 12 and you will see that Miriam and Aaron had a problem with Moses marrying a Cushite woman many believe the Cushites to be dark skinned but I don't know how the base their opinion. The only thing I do know is that she was differrent from Moses, Miriam and Aaron. The Lord became severly angry with Miriam and Aaron for their prejudisim and gave them leprousy to show them how it feels to be looked down on for something you can not change or control. So we see that God is angry with the racism rather than an intermarriage. In the time of Ezra God did not tell them not to marry Gentiles as many say He did if you read carefully you will find that God said do not marry woman of fathers that worship foreign Gods. Isn't that interesting and Jesus said not to be unevenly yoked with an unbeliever. So I believe God is more concerned that our faith in Him is matched in marriage than how we are born. Remember in order to please God we have to know Him and obey Him on a personal level not from a formula. May the Lord bless you, Nancy
