I agree, I worked for 20 years doing pretty much nothing but planning and implementing social systems for my state, under a commissioner and several governors.

I learned in that time that the proper way to address problems like that is to first identify them, and then set up goals, objectives and methodology for reaching those objectives and goals.. .

Hillary as I recall, graduated first in her class at Yale law school. She is wicked smart and has matched wits with the best and the brightest over decades. No one ever got the best of Hillary.

What we need right now is a crack administrator that knows how to identify problems and set up goals and objectives and methodology. And then hire people who have advanced degrees in it and did it for years, and know how to implement programs correctly. Dems have a deep bench, pubs not so much.

That is how Democrats address societies needs. Professionally.

The Republicans never even mention social science. They have some sort of voodoo theory based on pure capitalism that is not taught as fact in any major university in the world. Because it is nonsense and has never worked.

And I want my smartest people to be president and head cabinets, matching wits with Putin and China.

Not buffoons.

Most of those things you talk about are long term endeavors.

If we don't get things right in the next 10 or 20 years we won't have ANY long term.

That CNN article talks about the problems we're facing Right Now.

If we don't get that stuff worked out it won't matter what our hopes are for the future.
