The more educated they are the more productive they will be, and the less crime they will commit. Every research I've ever read in my life substantiates that point. All kids need to be offered public free pre schools with hot meals at 2.5 years old. Many parents either can't afford to send their child to preschool, or just don't think it's important, or don't want to take the time. But in any event, it is in society's best interest to at least offer free education to those mothers that want to get their children educated. We are starting the kids in school too Late. Five years old is too late. We need to get them started around two, at least part-time. NOT stressful education, but fun education. We should begin to teach the kids to think at an earlier age. Thinking is a learned skill. We need to give all the kids that skill, so they can all say: "I have skills-lol!" At that age they are absorbing tremendous amounts of information and forming a neural and intellectual network that will create the path that takes them forward. We need to fill their minds with knowledge, science, facts and logic and the ability to negotiate abstract ideas. Society needs to help get them started on a long journey of intellectual discovery that will help them live better and better able to help society.. Facts and logic are taught in most schools the same as they are facts and logic-lol, i.e. there are seven continents, earth is round, it is colder higher even though it is closer to the sun-lol, it is important to teach them to eat healthy and exercise and pratice learning every day. The earth is 5 million years old, evolution is real, and there are no polar bears in Antarctica and there are no penguins in the Arctic. It is in society's best interest to get all children started with a comprehensive education that gives them the intellectual power and capability to form a more perfect union with justice and liberty for all.
