I don't know what you're trying to say? I can't believe you're saying that Trump is smarter than Hillary, or that his surrogates are smarter than her surrogates, or saner? And certainly not better for the country.

Trump is a Putin clone. Hillary is like Ike and Trump is like Patton. We certainly could not have had Patton as head of the army.

We need smart sane, and honest people running our country, not buffoons. Every Trump surrogate I have seen looks like a mobster and his followers seem to understand very little and are being fooled by him.

Or that the people he would appoint to the Supreme Court and federal benches would be smarter, more humane, saner and better for our country than the ones she would appoint?

Or the people Trump would appoint to run our country would be smarter and more decent than the ones she would appoint?

I have watched Trump for 18 months now and he is a really ignorant man who lies and makes stuff up with impunity. I've never seen anybody like that my life. He would not be a good president if he were honest because he is so ignorant. But he has not intention of doing anything good for our country. When has he ever done any good?

You can't be saying that, so what are you saying? You'll have to excuse my inability to understand the post below.

koan, I just wrote a post to somebody saying that sometimes you have to pick the BEST person for the job even if you don't like them.

When we went into Europe, Patton wasn't very popular, but Eisenhower knew he was the BEST guy for the job and he sent him there to lead the charge.

People didn't like Montgomery, but they KNEW he was the Best.

MacArthur was an arrogant SOB but they KNEW they needed him in the Pacific.

Von Braun probably should have been HUNG for war crimes because of all the slave labor he killed but instead he got a Free Pass to the U.S. because we knew he was the best missile guy alive and the Russians wanted him too.

Sometimes it's wise and necessary to be CYNICAL if you want to achieve the best outcome overall.
