Jess Jackson is a political chameleon ... an individual after self aggrandizement ... an individual who will hang onto the coattails of others, more distinguished and deserving than himself, in order to be seen within their company and to have others draw conclusions from that about his supposed affiliation .... an individual who will thump the bible and quote its passages as a supposed reflection of his own piety, but his actions belie that ... I can still recall seeing Jesse Jackson pushing and shoving his way on the steps of the Cape Town City Hall, where Nelson Mandela made his first speech to the public, in order to place himself in that position which would best ensure that he was seen on international TV news bulletins in the same company of a man who was head and shoulders above that religious and political nonentity, Jesse Jackson .....
