I have met a ton of musicians over the years due to various types of work I have done, I am sure well over 10,000, and Clark Terry is right at the top of the list based on being a wonderful human being. As you can tell by the film, he had a real connection with Vancouver, and had many students here who get together annually on his birthday to celebrate him.
