I agree with your opinion on Japan and SE Asia's leverage and that it is difficult to the US to consume more, but your point about it is difficult for Japan to save LESS eludes me. Could you please elaborate on this and then if possible please also take into consideration a basic social policy change such as institution of an unemployment assistance and a basic tax policy change to discourage saving?

I agree that we need capital inflow to Asia. I know that we already agreed to disagree on the loan guaranteeing issue. But, to help me to understand more of your view, could you please characterize it as a necessary or suffifient or both for capital to return to Asia?

Do you have figures on US exports to Asia regarding how much is classified as capital goods and how much as consuming goods? Thanks.
