They think they want to live in a theocracy. But because they don't know their history, they don't know that we've already tried that and life was hell. They call it the dark ages when the church ruled everything.

Around 450 A.D. when the Germanic tribes finished crushing Rome, the only authority in Europe was the church. And the church was brutal and simple minded. "They routinely tortured and killed people for heresy.

And without a central government providing law and order, things were so bad that people couldn't leave their villages for fear of bandits and warring tribes.

This democracy that we created has given us the most wonderful and peaceful society the human species has ever known, and the Christians want to throw it away so they can be ruled by pastors.

That's right Koan..even if it is only ONE person he or she has civil rights which must be defended. There are Evangelical Christians out there who claim that the majority should rule when they pass illegal discriminatory referendums which are subsequently struck down by the courts as being unconstitutional.

Then they wail and moan about activist judges. Bible thumping hypocrite bastards all.

Does that hold true for the business owners who has invested their life savings into a business and reserve the right to service who they wish?
