According to the historical data, when any specific stock or DOW on
the first day of the year went up significantly, the trend will follow
for the rest of the year, particularly for the "January effect". Also,
based on Apple's historical January trend, only one of 15 years has
gone south. It is obvious that Apple is going to have surprisingly
good year.

The old famous brand companies, such as Apple, IBM, AT&T, and HP never
die. IBM, AT&T and HP prices have run pretty well. IBM went down to
40+, then it hit 105+ after split once. AT&T was the best among DOW
30 last year in stock performance. Now, it is Apple's turn to upswing
regardless of takeover or noises from negative opinions because the
Apple house has been clean up and everything is in order by now.
