Jim Strauss:

"I missed the DEC 29th filing(request for extension), the preliminary(YR SEPT 30) numbers are not so good. Has everyone seen this on EDGAR. "Operating income for the YEAR of 1.4 million(2.1 after 9 months) which means after everything is taken out we are looking at a solid loss. Revenues came in at 62 mil for the year.
I can't believe this slipped by..."

I'd like your take on this previous post...

Dave:

I just finished reading the extension request by RECY and agree
there appears to be a quarterly loss about to be reported. What
do you think caused it? Weren't the two Addlestone acquistions
supposed to be accretive to earnings? I suspect there were
one-time charges taken in the 4th quarter to "clean up" the
financials in preparation for a banner 1998.

I find it very unlikely that GE would put its reputation and
capital at risk by financing RECY if there wasn't an outstanding
opportunity for success. Therefore, a small quarterly loss
shouldn't be cause for alarm to long term investors.

On the postiive side, revenues increased by 237% to 62 million
from 1996. Also, RECY has 9 million in net operating loss
carryforwards.

When do you figure the final 10K will be released?
