I'll be waiting for the new peak to jump in again on ZITL.

New topic: does anyone have subscription info for Will Lyons "Short On Value" newsletter?

Bill, the Zit went up Friday because of shorts taken profits they had delayed until after year end. I don't think that effect is completely over yet. Also if ZITL is ever going to get a y2k contract, it will be soon. We may be lucky enough for Zitel to get back up into shorting range again!

Didn't ZITL announce a new Year-2000 product, the 'Portable Factory'. That might be a reason for the gain. The 'Portable Factory' doesn't seem to be that great of an idea, but what do I know?

I like your call on CVC. This company has horrible financials, and are selling off properties to try to raise money. They leak cash every quarter.

I think that they are rising on speculation that cable stocks will become the high bandwidth Internet communication medium in the next few years. Maybe so. But my understanding is that these cable companies will have to replace all the cable. Cable is analog, they need to send digital packets in order to make their dreams come true. (Im sure that you can send digital packets over co-ax, but you still need to modify the distribution system to handle two way digital packets) The real digital bandwidth comes with fiber optic cable, not co-ax. CVC is in no position to make a huge investment to replace their entire infrastructure. Anybody else have info/opinion on this issue?

Another unbelievably overvalued stock is CCU, Clear Channel Communications. They sell for 10 times sales, P/E of 120. They've grown tremendousl;y, but all through acquisitions. I'm not saying that CCU is a great short right this minute, but I'm going to watch the chart for weakness and try to time entry.
