Yup. Especially for suicide. Which is one of the reasons, but not the only one, that owning a gun makes you 3 times more likely to die from gun violence than those that don't. Oddly enough, people don't tend to commit suicide with hammers and such when guns aren't available.

They are real handy in family arguments, arguments with the neighbor, road rage, etc. Female partners especially tend to wind up victims.

Is that why Democrats are so hot and bothered to sell as many armaments as possible to the ME...especially AQ and ISIS?
