Page migration and replication are only relevant when one
is talking about machines where memory access latencies are
non-uniform. Certainly these are interesting concepts in the
Origin architecture but they are not generally interesting
in the generic SMP case because most SMPs sold have uniform
access latencies. Therefore these concepts are not generally
useful ones when talking about OS scale-ability on SMP boxes
(as we were doing).
