You can conclude anything based on instantaneous price action. There's no correlation between news release and today's price action. Price action does not account for news except infinitesimally which is never instantaneously separable from price noise.

Web-tv/ISP interface? ATHM. So no steering need be done. MSFT can insist on their own proprietary ISP, but they can't get in. They can't set one up. The infrastructure is pretty much in place though far from completed and is owned by others who won't sell.With $100 billion thay might be able to buy all the cable co's., but I doubt government would allow that and MSFT doesn't have that kind of dough. MSFT wouldn't benefit if they owned the whole enchilada anyway. They're a software company. Their interests are served if they can sell software to the cable industry.
