I know you can find the contract terms to the agreement....generally in the filed SEC docs.....however.....Intuit has a plan to migrate their financial service offerings to the internet. They see the net as the supercharger to long term growth. Which leaves Excite as the port of entry by choice. Intuit & another company they own 19% of Checkfree are pioneering the push towards digital based transactions over the internet. They are leading, at the current time, the technology needed to make the conversion from paper to digital.

Intuit boasts 10 Million users + -, Checkfree brings the expertise on digital processing....along with the relationships & partnerships to give all three a head start IMHO.

In Summary you have a Financial package Software Company & a back-end transaction processing company, who's partnerships include some of the largest financial conerns on this planet.....all wanting to migrate their services to the Internet. Excite is Intuits 40 Million Dollar port of entry......Who know what the ultimate end is....all I know is it has been very interesting, and profitable watching.
