Its a victory for the Limbaughs, Brietbarts and Alex Jones's that they could sell so many debunked conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton, from the smearing of the Clinton Foundation, promising indictments "soon" to founding ISIS, to Vince Foster. To the endless emails.

Was she a great campaigner/speaker? No. But she worked her ass off and has substance. She is highly intelligent and dedicated to her country including the weak and forgotten. She adopted many of Bernie's platforms.

Trump has a BA degree, and a line of business failures and serial lawsuits. Until recently, he tweeted bullying and hate and then clearly lied about what he said. Trump's bigotry against the Obama's should have been enough to disqualify him.

BTW, David Duke took credit tonight for helping elect him. We all get the dog whistles. White nationalist ultra conservative Michael Savage will orgasm tomorrow, in pride.

Trump will be the first President who has held no office, or served in the military.

Was she untrustworthy?? Did she lie? Less that most Politicians; colossally less than Trump.

But plenty of progressives just didn't "trust HER." And piled on with the rest of the anti-Clinton stampede enabling Trump.

Now its time to fight the Republicans from destroying the middle class and poor, as well as the environment and civil liberties. We have our work cut out for us.

At a time like this it's easy to think that the other side had all/most of the stupid voters. But the reality is that no candidate, liberal or conservative, was ever elected without the stupid vote.

A less condescending way of putting it would be to say that no candidate was ever successful without convincing the masses. In an election that means the candidate must be able to connect with the average Joe plus in these polarized times the candidate's party needs to corral as much of the voter sentiment as possible before there's even a candidate.

It's the revenge of the stupid against the clever ones.
