My apologies...that statement was rhetorical and more directed to the general public than you alone. Anyway, what is done is done. There will be a lose canon in the WH and both the House and Senate are Republican. So it will be a disaster for the environment and social liberties. On the other hand, Trump is as much of a Republican as Sanders is a Democrat. So the congress will not automatically support him. He is also pretty lazy, so it will be more of a Pence presidency - the way that the first W term was really a Cheney presidency. I just don't think Trump can be handled as easily as Bush was.
