Larry, MU stock is definitely discounting that, but the way I look at the industry it seems that anytime one set of players does something "smart" (industry-level) another set comes out and does something "less-than-smart".

Most recent example: The S. Korean's shut down production earlier in the fall, and Micron jumps in and increases production of a magnitude which totally negates any industrywide upside.

Future example?: The Taiwainese see this happening and may be reading this as an opportunity to boost market share. I think they'd better smarter allocating their resources toward more application-specific IC's, but who knows?

Good trading,

Tom
