The only thing against this stock in the near term is the market. I expect a down week in the NAZ, which WDC will be fighting since it is a technology stock, and then a recovery after that.

and a good case could be made that the asia problems are a net positive for wdc in the long run due to lower manu costs.

Its a wash Man. The Asian companies that are out pricing WDC also have manufacturing in Asia and therefore lower manufacturing costs as well.
