After several decades of watching and being affected by USA politics, that's a good strategy: <
My expectations for Trump is exceedingly low, that he would not make a thoroughly completed mess of his charge,
> The Calvin and Hobbes philosophy of happiness - avoid disappointment, aim low.
Also:
"Emily didn't aim high. She aimed low."

The USA has a remarkable propensity for doing stupid things. Hunting non-existent WMDs in Iraq because Osama and Saudi Arabian jihadists destroyed the Twin Towers for example. I was going to write a long list but knowledgeable people can easily make their own list. So keeping expectations low is a good idea. Surprises to the upside are nice.

But so far, I like his list of things to do. I'm very optimistic actually. He'll love roaring around the skies in Air Force One which he will surely refit to a standard more befitting his standard. Hmm, he'll probably upgrade to a Boeing 777 or something more modern. An oil sheik might like to recycle the old 747s complete with anti-missile gear. He'll appoint a bunch of people like Rudi and expect them to recommend and do the specified work while he gets around the world and the villages of the USA.

I expect peace in our time, contrary to the Doomsters who think drunk and crooked Hillary is better to hold the nuclear fire button when the 3am call comes [he'll already be awake and ahead of the game].

So much fun. Wonderful. Fun to see the gnashing of teeth and beating of breasts. Weird really. Dow way up as expected.
