Bernie would have needed to flip only 1% of Trump voters, many of whom were not die hard GOP. And he would have brought in more voters from the left too. Your opinion of mainstream is outdated, imo. Can't resist a slam against whoever you talking with, can you. On the substance, I've already stated that Sanders would have lost much worse than Clinton did. The Black turnout would have been much lower with Sanders. Possibly also the Hispanic vote.
