He (Trump) wants protectionism, no free trade, little foreign involvement, Trump wants trade; he just wants it to be a win-lose for the US vs. "partners"-- just like he did for himself in his usually failed businesses. He sees the US as not using its power enough. Trump wants hawkish foreign involvement - he wants other countries to PAY US FOR IT. And he thinks we should use our military assets as leverage for renegotiation. He wants to bomb the shit out of his "enemies." Like Putin. Except Putin is bombing our friends, not our enemies. I do not mean for my messages to come off as mean; we just view this differently.
