Obviously as shown on the Intel thread, you have absolutely no idea about markets and supply/demand. You should go sit in your rocker and not involve yourself in such things as Investing/trading.

The MIPS CPUs used in those machines are made by NEC I believe. I'll dig up the estimated costs and list prices for you, but I'm not at home, so I'll post them later.

Jim,

MDR estimates the R4300 costs $11 to make and lists for $32. Anybody would be pleased with those margins.
