Truff, you're way off here. Didn't you see the Missouri-Nebraska game? Missouri clearly outplayed them, and then lost their bowl game to CSU! Sorry, Tom may be retiring, but Michigan earned it. BTW, I'm a Mizzou grad. I generally want someone from our conference to be number one (good publicity), but that just wouldn't be fair this year.

I thought you went to school in Houston?

When the Rose Bowl ended, I thought Michigan was No. 1 no matter what Nebraska did. However, after the Orange Bowl ended yesterday, I thought Nebraska had to be a champion also.

You have Michigan going into the bowl ranked number 1, finishing 12-0. You have Nebraska (what is their ranking 2 or 3?) finishing the season at 13-0. In my opinion, Tennessee was no match for Nebraska, they only picked them because of the name recognition of Payton M. which is down right BS. This whole system is $%^&*#, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE TO SELECT WHICH TEAM GOES WHERE AND WHICH TEAM PLAYS WHO. The whole thing flies smack dead in the face of competition. Why give it your best if you know that the best is not good enough???? How could this system have lasted for so long? Why the HELL don't they have a playoff system like ALL normal sports do?

Cornhuskers do rule, however, Michgan is no slouch either. Stuck up, maybe, champions for sure. And no travesty to say the least.

I just came from my eye doctor. When I went to pay, what do I see? You guessed it, a Zip drive. The doctor looks at me wondering why the grin on my face, must of thought I was some kind of wierdo.

OT- I have lost a lot of respect for you:) U of M 1989. Michigan really killed Colorado while Nebraska barely won. Missouri is not that good a team and Nebraska won on a fluke play. Tenn gave up a ton of points to Auburn. Not really an offensive powerhouse. Who cares how badly Nebraska beat them. Their defense has never been good and Manning is not as good as some claim. Michigan shut down the # two offense in football. One that is much better balanced than Nebraska. Ryan Leaf makes Frost look like a high school quarterback. I think the only reason Nebraska won is that coaches wanted to pay respect for Osborne. A great coach, but not a great team like his other National Champions

Go Blue,
Dan
