Interesting. I don't see the Reps having enough control over the nomination process to stop Trump should Biden had been the Dem nominee. As for Biden as a candidate, I agree about the various problems he would have had as a candidate. I just think those problems made him less vulnerable than Clinton and certainly less vulnerable than Sanders. Or Warren. Had a conversation this morning about whether Warren could have won. Our mutual conclusion is that she could not have.

With Bush43, it was also about Cheney and the yes-clowns :-) he appointed to cabinet and other positions.

Trump will be surrounded by mean angry GOP cronies like Newt and Rudy.

Trump, with his BA degree and history of business failure while flying in private jets and limos, will be more like Bush43 and Reagan in that he will enjoy the ego strokes being the powerful figurehead atop a Republican machine that does the bidding of its usual clients.

The "team" will need to begin reeling him in by spinning his election promises that are unconstitutional.
