they are going to "Modernize Medicare"

greatagain.gov
The Administration recognizes that the problems with the U.S. health care system did not begin with – and will not end with the repeal of – the ACA. With the assistance of Congress and working with the States, as appropriate, the Administration will act to:

Protect individual conscience in healthcare
Protect innocent human life from conception to natural death, including the most defenseless and those Americans with disabilities
Advance research and development in healthcare
Reform the Food and Drug Administration, to put greater focus on the need of patients for new and innovative medical products
Modernize Medicare, so that it will be ready for the challenges with the coming retirement of the Baby Boom generation – and beyond
Maximize flexibility for States in administering Medicaid, to enable States to experiment with innovative methods to deliver healthcare to our low-income citizens

I believe he was serious when he said in his Election win address, Those who have been forgotten in the past will no longer be forgotten in this administration. He loves success. His personality suggests he wants to be remembered as a successful President. No different than his success in business.

The way to do that is to work with both sides of the house. Bundling bills which offer some sacrifice but also accommodating some of the wishes of both. In that way he gets things thru he gets things past. and creates many infrastructure and other jobs for the working class like the Keystone will create or putting coal miners back to work. Think Art of the Deal if you have ever read it. It is a good book.

I only hold Two junior Gold stocks. They are Canadian mines under construction with production costs of between 7 & $800 per oz.

Elroy the future is going to be total chaos. That is when people buy gold and silver.

Surely you don't think Trump and the Republicans know specifically what they're going to do?

The wild card is whether the Republican leadership can convince Trump to terminate Social Security and Medicare benefits

Your panties would have gotten all wet with a moralgasm much faster under $hillary since she promised in her GS speech (released by WikiLeaks) that she'd privatize SSI, so they could dine at the trough.
