Hello Zeev,

I have been following you since last summer and I wanted to say
"Thank you" for making me money in aksef and exso. I officially
joined SI last November and I like so many others value your wisdom
and opinions. I am considering re-investing in a company called
TGLEF. I invested originally in August of 95 when the company was
Dusty mac(DMACF). I sold the majority of my position after empty
promises of signing a PSA(Production sharing agreement) with Yemen.
This past December the agreement was finally signed but the stock
did not react. It is currently trading between 7/8 and 15/16.
Would you please look at this stock and let me know what you think.
My oil and gas knowledge is limited and I am hoping you will see
something which I can't. SI has a TGLEF thread if you would like
to respond to me on that thread. TGLEF has its own special
personality but I am sure you have visited worse.<vbg>

Thank you,

Richard
P.S. I hope to earn a golden fish hook or eat at the multi-horned
table one day in 98.

Zeev,

I know you like MRK as a "core" holding, and certainly selling covered calls is a nice way to get some extra income. My question is, do you think MRK is a buy at current prices? If I had bought it at half its current price, I'd keep it as a "core" too. But I can say that for lots of stocks. Warren Buffett likes KO. OK, but wonder at what price he acquired it and if he's buying more now?

My problem is I just can't find any value in most of the stocks I research. Yeah, I know, and that's why I've missed the last several thousand points of this Bull. All those overvalued stocks got even more overvalued.

Jack
