You may have noticed, or not, I quoted the sources who stated it was an Obama choice not to follow tradition in this instance. They used the phrase 'cancellation accompanied the announcement.' You don't like it, take it up with Obama or the media. I'm not interested in your quibble, so pick a knit somewhere else.

>>>"It is amusing to see a Trump supporter complain about tradition,"<<<

Your amusement is wrought with error, and more like the nervous laughter we witness when someone is being taken down a peg.

I stated my reasons for not supporting Trump during the campaign and reiterated them for your associates here on the thread when it was called for. It's on the record here if you care to look. However, I have made it a practice to keep an open mind when someone is elected and have not criticized the past presidents during their first term because I believe they deserve to be given a chance to see what they can accomplish. I declared my intention, to family members, that I would give Hillary a chance once elected as well. I believed at the time she had it locked up.

A ranking Democrat in New Jersey is calling for lawmakers to consider impeachment proceedings against Gov. Chris Christie after two of his aides were convicted in the George Washington Bridge lane-closing case.

Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg in a statement Thursday called on Democratic Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto to consider the impeachment.

Weinberg says that there was "considerable testimony" during the trial that Christie knew about the conspiracy where three allies closed lanes of the country's busiest bridge to retaliate against a Democratic mayor who wouldn't endorse him.
