I was reading through (on some political site) his "platform" of views on all the hot button topics. Not a lot of useful info, but for example on healthcare, he actually does state an important point: We need cheaper healthcare. That was a great failure of the ACA, which instead concerned itself primarily with WHO should pay for healthcare, and not how to make the care itself actually more affordable. In that sense, the ACA was somewhat what one would expect as a product of left ideological origin. It is of course an aspect that will always be there, because healthcare does indeed have the issue of non-uniform and high expenses for some fraction of the population.

So it's possible that Trump if he had good people around him, could in fact pursue some useful angles that either Dem or Rep might not normally focus on. But the key will be who is around him. His son-in-law is an interesting character, and I haven't read a lot about him. Interesting family too, and as many of Trump's N.Y. pals, big Dem donors (Clintons again) and some visits to prison, LOL. Strange world...
