This really puts thing into perspective. If the VCR has reached 80% penetration rate, I now have no doubts as to whether PCs and the Internet will reach that level. The only question now is how long it will take.

Michael, re: product acceptance chart

Thanks for going to the effort to find the chart. It's a good visual argument to silence those that think the PC has reached market saturation. I would love to see a sister chart with prices during the same time periods.
