I didn't say I wouldn't fight the good fight. But we got ourselves in a situation by not correctly analyzing the problem at hand: and not facing reality. We were Pollyanna-ish. You know what Sun Tzu says:" know thy enemy, and know reality". One daughter today wondered if I should stay up here in Alaska. And I told her the way it works, is the old baboons, are the ones that stay behind when the leopards attack and defend the tribe to the death. That is their job. I will go down and join the protests just like I did during the Vietnam War and for civil rights. My mother taught me my proper role in society. I just saw Captain Fantastic. Very Germaine-lol.
