The largest waste in the United States government is the military-industrial complex, and tax cuts for the rich. You are being played by the rich.

I have no idea what you're talking about when you start acting like education is not important, or that public schools are feeding the children nonsense, or worse propaganda.

What the public schools do, is teach kids to read and write and learn history and math and geography and science. Education is the foundation of civilization.

Public schools teache kids how to think. Not what to think, that's what the church does. But how to think on their own. To be free and empowered and elf actualized. A parent that teaches his kids the value of education empowers them and protects them. Education makes kids strong.

I know dang well that you didn't grow up in any tougher place than I did. And when I got myself out of there by going to college I want to tell you it was the smartest thing I ever did. And I worked my ass off to achieve it. My mother was poor and alone. I worked all night in factories and hamburger stands and went to class in the morning. School is hard work.

And by the way, all the great thinkers are basically telling the same story. But it's a story that takes a while of concentrated effort to understand.

We were barbarians until we learned to read and write.
