I was listening to a guy on the radio who is with some non-partisan tax policy think tank. He evaluated Trump's first proposed tax plan, and projected a 12 trillion dollar deficit as a result. It seems Trump or some of his advisers actually paid attention, and came back with a much vaguer, revised tax plan, a little less generous to the very wealthy. The tax evaluater was only able to come up with figures showing a 3-6 trillion dollar deficit with the new plan. Progress!
