Do you think Cruz could get a Supreme Court nomination? IMO, he'd be fantastic, especially at his age. How could the Dems block a sitting senator? He would be good. He is a real Constitutional scholar, the Dems would do everything in the world to try to stop his appointment lol

How could the Dems block a sitting senator? .......doubt it......maybe too divisive......may not want it.....but would be excellent.............Mike Lee might want it and would be top notch as well. I think either would necessitate getting rid of filibuster rule as Ds would NEVER agree to either. Of course, if Trump means what he says, he will DEMAND McConnell do just that and get him out of leadership if he won't. If he lets McConnell block his agenda by keeping the filibuster rule, it means it was never really his agenda......it's that simple. (We the People) need to hold TRUMP to his promise. I would give the Ds one SC veto...........after that, it's total WAR. There are plenty of candidates in the Cruz/Lee mold...........but those two would set us up in the SC for the next 30 years.
