Jim,

AMD stock price:

Jerry has done a real good job of keeping AMD price at what it is today. This company has demonstrated consistansy of losing money. On top of that, if AMD can produce enough chips to threaten Intel's market share, Intel will certainly discount the Pentium line ever so deeply. AMD is not going to make a lot of money anyway you look at it, yet its stock price is still such artificially high today, probably due to fantasy of take-over. Whoever takes over AMD is like swallowing a poisonous pill.

John.
