Don't bet on it...

Conservatives vs. Trump’s infrastructure plan

politico.com

Dan Holler, spokesman for the group Heritage Action for America, questioned the job-creation claims for such plans, in the same way that conservatives have scoffed at the benefits of President Barack Obama’s $832 billion stimulus.

"Conservatives do not view infrastructure spending as an economic stimulus, and congressional Republicans rightly rejected that approach in 2009,” said Holler, whose group is the political arm of The Heritage Foundation.

A US President can be fairly dictatorial, but only if they're supported in this. -- For a short time George W Bush did a good impression of a dictator.

While Donald Trump is a bully and has a naturally dictatorial personality, neither Republican nor Democratic politicians support him along these lines - nor do the majority of Americans with Hillary Clinton receiving a majority of the votes.

Trump did his best Mussolini imitation for Mitch McConnell and Mitch just laughed and enjoyed bullying Trump.

As for the refugees Australia has paid the island nation of Nairu to house for many years, it does appear their entry to the US and close the Nairu camp is a done deal. We're going to be receiving a favor just as delicious from Australia in return - but that would be telling.
