Sig, **************OFF TOPIC****************
Hi!!! Sugar.....Amazin' stuff....Americans love it.....and it is a poison to the body....how the average American can handle this stuff in the mass quantities that some of us use is truly unbelievable....I teach nutrition all the time at school....our adrenal glands go crazy trying to deal with this stuff...yet, they can't talk....so if we have that sweet tooth so what. Frequently, illustrated the plight of the people in the Soviet Union by describing to kids the variety of candies in drug stores alone being greater in this country than all the food selection choices in the entire USSR combined. USA is awesome isn't it?? Go to a drug store to eat poison.
Best, Kemble

Sig,
If sugar is a sign of civilization what does it mean that we pay close to twice the world price for sugar? I know why the sugar growers and processors like the subsidies but why do the rest of us put up with it?
