Bill we made ALL the wrong decisions for the last 10 years trading on "fundamentals." So we were not spared the pain of the real world class room. We were lucky and didn't lose too much, but we never made much either. And since growing the nest egg was the goal we failed miserably. Now, I totally agree with you that TA incorporates fundamentals far ahead of what a small investor can get his/her hands on. I am only buying the candlestick book so that I can see what the true believers are doing. If I have a choice between two good picks, and one is supported by candlesticks and one isn't, I'll go for the one that has the good candlestick because I'll know that at least the other candlestick technicians (dare we call them that) will be with me.

Bill,
The VIX @~24 the TRIN at.95...Is your VIX still on a buy?And what say your Barron's?I do not have a good handle on the vix so any pointers would be appreciated by many of us.Last month the put premiums were more costly than calls....now it is turning the other way around.Although,I sold my calls late Fri. I still may reenter. But I am definately watching those puts for later in the week.I am not seeking 100% returns <G> just little gains taken more often!Does my simple outlook concur with your indicators?TIA
Regards,
Barbara
