Well, couldn't figure out any good stocks to buy, so I placed an order for a Dell. Total damage: $2300.

P.S. If Dell's turn-around is 6 hours, how come I'm getting my computer in 2 weeks???

P.P.S. Where's a good place to buy Quake II? ;)

Z <<Maybe the model goes to 15% of final price for a drive>> This will leave some breathing room for HDD makers assuming companies that make HSA and media can get their cost down real quick. I agree that a one-platter drive will need to be targeted for this kind of products.
