Re: People are listening to what you say online! Thanks for the very good article, Jeff. Most libel and slander law in the US is based on common sense,but the UK aspect is something most Americans, including newspeople don't think about. It makes sense, though. Comments on the net would be no different than a letter to an editor, or any other public utterance.
