Now that I am over 65, I via HMO have a free membership at the YMCA. I attempt to go there and exercise every other day. The shower at the Y never runs out of HOT or VERY HOT water. yes we have a small gas 40 at home, usually never a problem as all here are on very different schedules. We have natural gas and the monthly water bill is usually less then $25 a month. Most of the cost is for the Pilot. A Demand gas hot water heater would likely reduce the bill to less than 10, but the 900 to 1500 cost of a unit does not make sense.
