But I can't by an M1 Carbine and had to give away 3 of them when Jersey specifically named them as Assault weapons.

I've liked listening to Chris Christie at times - did he do anything to stop this?
I was under the impression - he went along with the idea, if not out right support.

Why we can't go back to something simple and reliable is over my head. Our men and women in harms way must have what they know is the best, not what some lobbyist paid some congressman to approve...
