We were staying at a stately hotel in Guadalajara a few years ago and got back late. In the little park outside the hotel was a big tree and I could see rodents moving around the base. I asked my Mexican associate Juan-Jorge are those rats? He replied no those are chipmunks. I said no way look at the tails those are rats and he said Si, Mexican chipmunks. To this day I call rats Mexican chipmunks.

You have a very talented family. I've always been a little jealous of someone that can sketch or paint well - my handwriting even bothers me.

I love Mexico and have over the years been on mule, jeep and foot over most of it.

This place is worth the drive just for the comida.
