I appreciate your patience but in this case the accurate use of the word 'evolution' matters. Most Rebubs accept, as you do, that adaptation and survival of the fittest is an observable phenomenon. Your insinuation is that they are too dumb to get that. Origins and other magnificent mysteries deserve to be respected for what they are, mysteries that are not dismissed by one scientific theory. Republicans work and thrive in the modern techno world just as you do, so it is wrong IMO to hold yourself above them in that regard. The difference between faith based beliefs vs theoretical groundings is noted but please be real about it. You can't divide that along party lines, I know that is central to your hatred for the right wing but it is an area where you could grow, if you so chose. People see that rant and it is an eye roller that interferes with them taking you seriously. Many, maybe most, consider both faith based beliefs and theoretical groundings to be valid venues for gaining understanding of circumstance, things, phenomena, and ideas. It seems like an unnecessary tripping point for you IMHO.
