I will do my best to vote for what I think might be best for the common good, but if people choose to see it a different way, and get stomped by the heel of fate, I will not spend any time worrying about it, or caring- it does absolutely zero good. The only thing that does people any good is action- and I do what I can, in terms of doing things, concrete things, and beyond that, I care and worry as little as possible. That's why I'm not on psychiatric meds and so many other people are. You've got to learn to let go of the things that are beyond your control and not obsess. I'm practical.

And you've got some really weird definition of "formulating" policy to think someone who votes in an election is doing that. I think of formulating policy as something that goes on within election teams- when positions are staked out. I wouldn't agree that I have anything to do with that (especially since I never ever ever answer phone calls from pollsters).
