John,
I didn't clarify properly,

I bought 300 shrs. of a stock in the morning of a stock in the morning to add to my 700 shrs I had bought at a lower price. Later in the day when I noticed the market was playing the false rally game, I sold 500 shrs of the stock and later in the day I sold the rest of it (500 shrs) to leave this Santa Claus rally.

The two five hundred block trades should have been counted as one 1000 block trade for Jan. 2, 1997, per e.schwab rules, but was charge twice since I had made the 300 shr. buy earlier in the day.

If I had not made the 300 shr. buy earlier, the two 500 sells would have counted as one 1000 sell for the day and I would have been charged only $29.95 as a total cost for both 500 sells.

This is my understanding of what happened.

I beleive your understanding is correct.

If you leave in the next couple of weeks, PLEASE post to me where you have gone to. I am obtaining all the forms from anyone who has online trading, but welcome suggestions.

Thanks
